Moving day, E.R. Visit, and new cars...

Tiffany and Kevin finally have their own place, after 8 long months on our couch. Yay! So happy for them, married three years and this is the first home for them, alone...
It already feels too quiet and empty...

Lee has been passing kidney stones since his surgery, but last night was a whopper. We were at the hospital for about three to four hours, so tired. Lee was so miserable, yikes... Then when we got home I had a hard time falling asleep, isn't that the way it always is?

Juanita and Andrea got new cars. Juanita is so excited just to be driving, but to be driving her very own car, yay! Andrea bought our old car, I am going to miss my plum car. I know that Andrea is going to take car of him, I said him, cause she has named the car, "Mr.Plum" nice...

What a weekend

Krysia is 21!

I can't believe that 21 years have gone by. My baby is all grown up.

Krysia is living in Texas with her best friend Emily. Emily is married to our son Christopher. We hope that Krysia will be happy in Texas. We love and miss her so much. It's been too long since we have seen her. I hope one day soon that all our children will be together again. Everyone is so spread out, and I miss my family...

Happy Birthday Krysia! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Love you,
Mom

Kidney Stones, Kidney Stones...

Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) uses shock waves to break a kidney stone into small pieces that can more easily travel through the urinary tract and pass from the body.

That is the procedure that Lee had done yesterday. It was not his first time having it either, it was his 7 since he turned 18 years old. Not a whole lot of fun for him. This time around the stone measured in at 4mm, which is pretty big...

At the hospital at 6 in the morning and out the door at noon. Boy what a long day...Lee and I didn't sleep too well the night before so it seemed longer than it actually was. I kept falling asleep on the uncomfortable chair in post-op, a kind nurse offered me a pillow, I happily accepted.
Lee is recovering at home nicely. I made sure he stayed in bed and took his meds, like a good patient.

When we got home all we could think about was taking a nap, so we did.

Anyway, that was our day. Now Lee just has to pass all those little stones...oh boy...I feel for him.
Love you honey
