Christmas

This time of year always brings a sense of nostalgia for me, of claymation cartoons, A White Christmas, nutcrakers, oranges, tearing open presents with wonder. I love our family coming together.

Best Christmas Gift Ever!

And under the Christmas tree this year a special gift was left for Tiffany and Kevin...a Beautiful baby boy. We all love Conner so much, he is so special to us all.

Tiffany and Kevin are wonderful parents and I hope they are able to get some sleep some time in the near future.

Tiffany is a Mommy and Kevin is a Daddy! Conner is Born!

(Friday the 25th of November) Kevin brought Tiffany and their new son home from the hospital. Tiffany and Kevin were both so tired from their time at the hospital. Seriously, 20 hours of labor after your water breaks, I have never heard of it. Tiffany was a trooper! Tiffany did an amazing job with the delivery, and I am so proud of her. Kevin was a great support to her, they both did wonderful. Conner is a little powerhouse, he is so strong and lets you know when he is not happy, and when he is also a quite baby who loves to look at his surroundings when awake.

Conner Bryan Horton was born on November 23rd weighing 8 lbs 3 oz, and was 21 inches long. He was born at Bayhealth Medical in Dover, Delaware at 10:15 pm in the evening. Another little surprise I found out is that Conner was born on his Grandfather's birthday (Kevin's Dad, he passed away in 1992). It's as if his Dad was watching from above and sending our Conner to us...

I have to say that I am so grateful for technology these days. Tiffany was able to see our family and friends who love her so much and wanted to be there for her to celebrate her joy.

We love you Tiffany and we can't wait to see our new addition to the family, your little son...wow, you are having a son, a baby...I am still in awe of my children growing up.

Our Tiffany is having a little boy!

It's hard to believe that another baby is entering our family. We have grown so much the past few years. Tiffany and Kevin have waited for the right time in their lives to bring this precious baby into the their world. I am so happy for them.
It seems like it was just yesterday when Tiffany was a baby herself. It amazes me how time has flown by. But here we are getting ready to welcome another grandchild into our family.
I am so excited, I am overjoyed, I am happy for my beautiful girl. I know she will be an amazing mom and Kevin is going to be a great dad.
Due date December 2, 2011. Maybe the little guy will do grandma a favor and be born on my birthday! That would be awesome!

I am soooooo looking forward to being in Delaware with Tiffany for the birth of her first baby. I have only missed two of my grand-babies births, Brendon and Lucas. I hope I don't have to miss anymore. I love you my wonderful growing family.
