Grandkids are special and too far away...

Sky and Solee are living it up in New York! I love the life they are living, seeing new things, traveling, experiencing new things all the time. They have so many people who love them including our family. And though we may not get to spoil them like we normally would it doesn't change how much we love them. They are the best and beautiful of both Tyler and Juanita....

Damon, Sami, and Brendon being silly and funny because they can be. We love them all so much and are happy to hear another little girl will be joining in on the fun soon. Liana says at the end of March, she is not planning on having a baby in April, she is determined to have a March baby, hahaha. Time has moved so fast, Damon will be 11 in May and Sami turned 8 in March, and Brendon will be 5 in July.

Lucas is growing up so fast and we are missing it.
We miss him so much, it's hard to believe he is going to be
two next month. The last time we saw him, he was six months old.
The time really has moved too fast for me.

I wish our kids lived closer so we could all get together and
we would be able to see and spoil our grandkids all the time.



Sloane is such a cutie!! I see Andrea in her with every new picture I see. She reminds me so much of Andrea when she was that age, always laughing, getting into mischief, and just plain being cute...

Seriously! Conner has grown so much in such a short time. He is three months here, yet he looks more like a six month old to me...

I miss my little Conner, what good is a Grandma if her grandkids live across the country...(sad face).

I am missing my kids, my grandchildren, and the all around chaos they bring into our home...I love you all so much.

Conner is so cute when he is sleeping, when he's awake, when he is eating, when he is just looking around at everything and at you. He likes to look at you directly, he likes it when you talk to him. I miss him so much...

Christmas

This time of year always brings a sense of nostalgia for me, of claymation cartoons, A White Christmas, nutcrakers, oranges, tearing open presents with wonder. I love our family coming together.

Best Christmas Gift Ever!

And under the Christmas tree this year a special gift was left for Tiffany and Kevin...a Beautiful baby boy. We all love Conner so much, he is so special to us all.

Tiffany and Kevin are wonderful parents and I hope they are able to get some sleep some time in the near future.

Tiffany is a Mommy and Kevin is a Daddy! Conner is Born!

(Friday the 25th of November) Kevin brought Tiffany and their new son home from the hospital. Tiffany and Kevin were both so tired from their time at the hospital. Seriously, 20 hours of labor after your water breaks, I have never heard of it. Tiffany was a trooper! Tiffany did an amazing job with the delivery, and I am so proud of her. Kevin was a great support to her, they both did wonderful. Conner is a little powerhouse, he is so strong and lets you know when he is not happy, and when he is also a quite baby who loves to look at his surroundings when awake.

Conner Bryan Horton was born on November 23rd weighing 8 lbs 3 oz, and was 21 inches long. He was born at Bayhealth Medical in Dover, Delaware at 10:15 pm in the evening. Another little surprise I found out is that Conner was born on his Grandfather's birthday (Kevin's Dad, he passed away in 1992). It's as if his Dad was watching from above and sending our Conner to us...

I have to say that I am so grateful for technology these days. Tiffany was able to see our family and friends who love her so much and wanted to be there for her to celebrate her joy.
