I LOVE BEING A MOM!

Andrea was born in Phoenix, she was my tiniest baby, weighing in about six pounds. I was so afraid to hold her, I thought I would break her. She has my Grandmothers name as her middle name, Steffany.
That is me with my girls, Tiffany and Liana, in Salem, Oregon.
Look at us.....I think the year was '93 or '94.
Krysia and I getting ready to leave to the hospital two days after she was born. She was so tiny...and such a good baby, she slept through the night the second week we were home. Gotta love her for that alone...haha

Juanita took this photo which is why she is not in the photo. California style....
Krysia and I at the Falls up at Provo Canyon. It was a gorgeous day!
That's Christopher and I. We were at the hospital because he had jaundiced.
Look at all that hair!
At the park at the apartment complex in San Jose, California.
One of our many road trips. Again, Juanita is taking this photo,
she wanted to sit in front and Krysia as you can see really wanted her mommy.
Juanita, Tiffany, Liana, Andrea, Christopher and the baby of the family, Krysia.
Let me think...this photo was taken at Olan Mills in Salem, Oregon in 1988, the year Krysia was born.
Look how little and young they were.
Christmas 2000, Orem Utah. The girls were being silly and Christopher was like, "huh, what's happening?" They all are so funny and can make me laugh. But the best thing about them is that I can call them my children. I have been blessed....I love each and everyone of them dearly and with all of my heart. I loved being pregnant, I loved holding them, reading to them, playing games with them, taking naps with them, talking with them, baking, shopping for them.
I love them to the moon and back, I love them every day and every night, I love them tons, I love them forever and ever....
I love them for how different they are, for how they teach me, for their sense of humor, their tender hearts, and their ability to love one another.
I LOVE BEING A MOM! I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING ABOUT ANY OF IT!

A birthday wish to Andrea

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

Wise Words

Throughout the years my family and friends have seen to it that I have the most cherished of gifts in words, by giving me quote books. Which I love, thank you to all have contributed to my library. So I thought I would share some of my favorites with you for Mother's Day, I hope you enjoy...

It will be gone before you know it. The fingerprints on the wall appear higher and higher. Then suddenly they disappear.
Dorthy Evslin

Children and mothers never truly part-Bound in the beating of each other's heart.
Charlotte Gray

A mother laughs our laughter, Sheds our tears, Returns our love, Fears our fears,
She lives our joys, Cares our cares, And all our hopes and dreams she shares.
Julia Summers

Before becoming a mother I had a hundred theories on how to bring up children.
Now I have seven sheldren and only one theory, love them, especially when they least deserve to be loved.
Kate Samperi

Every so often, invite the person in line behind you to go ahead of you.

Learn to make something beautiful with your hands.

Work in a garden.

Lie on your back and look at the stars.

Understand that happiness is not based on possessions, power, or prestige, but on relationships with people you love and respect.

DON'T POSTPONE JOY.

Pray for an enemy.

Own a cowboy hat.

Sing loud in the car, especially if your children are with you to sing along.

A woman's work is never done-especially if she asks her husband to do it.

A wise man thinks what he says; a fool says what he thinks.

Do it now! Today will be yesterday tomorrow.

We ask God to provide for our needs, and when he does, we congratulate ourselves on our ability and cleverness.

Hardening of the heart ages people more quickly than hardening of the arteries.

May you never take one single breath for granted, God forbid love ever leave you empty-handed, but if it does, may it leave you patient and stronger, willing and wiser, tender and tougher.
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance. I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance, Never settle for the path of least resistance, living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking.
Lee Ann Womack (I Hope You Dance)

Believe in yourself. Believe in your capacity to do great and
good and worthwhile things.

Parents and children, teach and learn goodness together, work together, read good books together, pray together.

Just take things one day at a time, otherwise you'll be overwhelmed.

Children are the promise of the future, the assurance of greater things to come.

Walk in integrity; in storm and sunshine, be faithful; in richness or in poverty, be faithful; in youth or old age, be faithful. Hold out until the end and God will bless you and crown your days with sweetness, and peace, and love.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
